Sliders as a thought model

A slider to where your opinion is on A vs B.

1. Ideation and discussion are often had in very black and white, absolute, terms .
2. Its either full vegan or meat as much as you like. Its either vaccine or no vaccine. Its either 100% A or 100% B.
3. Better to think in terms of a slider that you can move between the different points. Maybe 80% A and 20% B is a more optimal solution.
4. Your mental model is more flexible using a slider.

A slider is easier to move and you are not stuck in an either/or position

7. Most things in life are not black and white. There are often some tradeoffs to consider in reality.

8. In the ideal world of theory you can find 100% or 0% things. Rarely in reality.
