How to communicate online in 2023

Fast, to the point, simple (but not too simple).

If your aim is to communicate an idea to someone, your best bet is to keep things as clear and to the point as possible.

Avoid extra words — they are extra complications and a waste of energy.

Especially online this is important. If it takes too long to get to the real point of your video/text — many people will simply move on to the next thing.

Of course there are exceptions to the rule. Long-form podcasts and beautiful word essays come to mind. But most of the time it's your best bet to keep things as clear and to the point as possible.
