Don’t drive through life with the breaks on

Sometimes you feel the need to save energy. “Don’t take on that problem, don’t do that thing you’re interested in. Save energy. Play it safe.”

For what?! Life is short and soon it is over. If you’re interested in something you should do it.

If you drive through life with the breaks on, one day it’ll suddenly all be over. Then you can’t say “But hey- I was saving energy — I still have lots to give for the final sprint!”

It doesn’t matter. You missed the starting gun and the whole race. It is over and all that saved energy and potential is for naught.

So if you are motivated or interested to do something — just do it! Don’t drive through life with the breaks on.

Thanks for reading.
