- You are not your thoughts. Rather you can identify with the observer, the soul, awareness*.
- Whenever you notice heavy thoughts — they are your practice. All the garbage, the anxiety, the sadness, the anger — that is your roadmap. They are your triggers to practice to come to awareness & relax (as opposed to becoming lost in thought and more anxious). So whenever you notice yourself being lost in thought and whatever garbage: rejoice! It is practice.
- Over time your practice will trigger you to become less lost in thought and more aware. This is spiritual growth and the road to awareness awakening. It is a process for a lifetime. Godspeed.
*Awareness is a natural state. It is what you do all the time — to notice what goes on inside and outside. It means not being lost in thought. The challenge is more to notice you are lost in thought.
