Ask for help and you shall receive

Its easy to think you need to do everything by yourself if you have a ego. That it is somehow embarrassing to ask for help. That is a waste of all the smart people around. Teamwork is king.

In my experience, people enjoy talking about something they know. So if you ask someone to explain or to help with something you are struggling with — they will usually do it gladly!

Somehow this African proverb comes to mind:

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
